Dorothy Ann Baxter Harris

Dorothy Ann Baxter Harris Born October 31, 1928 of Keller, Texas Passed away Wednesday January 3, 2019 Dorothy was born and raised in Waco Texas. She graduated Waco High in 1946 and went on to attended North Texas State where she received her degree in physical education. After graduation she taught public school in Belton, Texas and Port Neches, Texas and was employed by American Airlines.　 After having her children she became a substitute teacher for Saint John’s in North Richland Hills and some of the surrounding schools in Keller. She was very active in the Keller Woman’s　club and enjoyed sewing for the Keller Indianettes. She also enjoyed being a member of ESA sorority.　She enjoyed life and loved her family. She never met a stranger and enjoyed doing things for others. She is preceded　in death by her husband John Robert "Jack" Harris. She is survived by her children Ann, David and John (Jessica) and Grandchildren Eric, Brittany and Taylor Harris.
