Richard Cantu Garcia Obituary

January 19, 1935 – July 12, 2015

Richard Cantu Garcia of Fort Worth, TX. passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on July 12, 2015 at the age of 80 after a long struggle trying to heal from post cancer treatments. 

Memorial will be held Saturday July 18, 2015 at the El Buen Pastor church; 4800 Merida Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76115. Gathering at 1pm, Service will begin at 2pm.

Richard was born on January 19, 1935 in Saspamco, TX, he was the youngest child to the late Tirso and Petra Garcia.

He was preceded in death by son Robert Angel Garcia, brother Frank Garcia, sisters Helen Rogers, Mary Hernandez and Susie Castellano.  Richard is survived by sons Richard Garcia Jr., Rey Garcia, Roland Garcia (Tricia Garcia), Ruben Garcia (Christie Garcia), Jeff Cole (Jennifer Cole), daughter Michelle Garcia, last living sibling Sarah Maldonado, 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.  He will live forever in the hearts of his family and so many friends.
