Curtice Andrew Silas

May 11, 1993 — September 4, 2021

Curtice Andrew Silas, a loving and dedicated father, son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend, gained his wings on September 4th, 2021 at 28 years old. He blessed the world with his grand appearance on May 11, 1993 in Dallas, Texas and moved to New Fairview, Texas as a child where he grew up and remained a Texas country boy at heart. When he wasn’t being the hardworking boss of his own detailing company, he was spending quality time with his precious daughter whom he loved more than life itself, researching new business ideas, catching up with friends or living life on the wild side. Curtice’s infectious smile, sense of humor and outgoing personality could lift the spirits of anyone in his presence. He never met a stranger and it was nearly impossible not to be happy or laughing when around him. His determination to be the best father and overall person no matter what circumstances stood against him truly symbolized his character. He was committed to helping anyone in need when the opportunity came along and never thought twice about doing so. The words “selfless” and “caring” should always be associated with Curtice. He will always be remembered for his big heart of gold, smile, loveable and outspoken personality, loyalty to others, work ethic, persistence, adventurous nature and his “dress to impress” style. Curtice made long lasting impressions with just about everyone that crossed his path and will be dearly missed by many.  Although he is not on this earth in physical form, he will forever be in our hearts. Curtice is survived by his daughter, Sophia Barber, his mother, Vickie Silas, his father, Undra Silas, his siblings, Chad Silas, Robert Miller and Kimberly Silas, his uncle, Oliver Silas, his aunts, Arlisa Woody, Anna Silas Hye and Audrey Flecther and his cousins, Jernorrus Silas, Joseph Silas, Kiara Fletcher, Drusilla Silas and Sydney Woody. The viewing service will be held at Alpine Funeral Home located at 2300 N. Sylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76111 on Saturday, September 18th, 2021 at 6:00pm. The burial ceremony and balloon release will commence at a later date to be announced by the Silas family.  All are welcomed to both services to celebrate and remember Curtice’s life and to carry on his powerful legacy.
