James “Bo” Ford

Fort Worth, TX
October 17, 1946 - August 15, 2021

James “Bo” Ford, born on October 17th, 1946 was an avid fisherman and a hard worker.  He was a selfless man that truly enjoyed giving to others.  He not only enjoyed giving to others, but thrived on it.   Helping others was his driving force.    Whether it was coming to help his son with a home project or helping people carry out their groceries at his favorite spot, “the warehouse”, he was the first to volunteer and did so with a smile. “Bo” was easily the calmest person in the room, in any situation.  His calming presence and reassuring words will be missed by anyone who had the pleasure of spending any time with him.  He always knew what to say and do, no matter how tough the situation was. He was the most punctual, dependable and honest man there ever was.  If “Bo” Ford told you he would do something, he would not only be there on time, but would be there at least twenty minutes early.  He didn’t know the word “no”.  If you needed him, he was there…No questions asked.  Honesty was his only policy.  You might not want to hear what he had to say, but it was always the truth and always what was needed. “Bo” was certainly good at listening, as well.  He would sit with anyone who needed it, and just listen.  He was also great at talking and would tell some great stories to anyone that would listen. He was a loving father, brother, uncle, grandfather and dog dad. He is survived by his son James Ford Jr., his daughter-in-law Jennifer Ford and his sister, Marie Taylor and his beloved companion, Spike the Chihuahua.
