Joan Carolyn Bohannan Weast, 71, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away peacefully at 12:45 PM on Friday, October 7, 2016. She was born June 30, 1945 in Glen Rose, Texas to Hector and Lonie Bohannan. Joan graduated from Polytechnic High School in Fort Worth, TX and went on to complete her Real Estate courses at Texas Christian University. She was married to L.B. Weast on December 18, 1965 and they celebrated their 50^th Anniversary last year. She is survived by her loving husband L.B. Weast of Fort Worth, TX, daughter, Lori Caldwell of Fort Worth, TX, son Lance Weast and wife Christi of Midlothian, TX. And, her pride and joy, grandson Grayson Weast who affectionately called her “Maw-Maw.” She is also survived by her beloved sisters Imagene Jarnagin, Wanna B Ard, Billie Crook, Johnnie Keen and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 11^th from 6-8 PM at Alpine Funeral Home, Fort Worth, TX. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 12^th at Squaw Creek Cemetery in Glen Rose, TX.
