Linda Joyce Hill

Linda (Lynn) Joyce Hill was granted her angel wings on July 16, 2022.  She was born September 25, 1954, in Slaton TX to Ray and Hazel Hill.  She was blessed with two sons with her significant other, Roy Dean Lynch.  She graduated from John Tyler High School from there she attended Tyler Junior College. Linda was full of life never a dull moment, she loved people and loved laughing. She was a member of her high school drill team. In her 20s the love of softball became her passion, whether it was playing with sisters and friends or a coed company team. Linda resided in Fort Worth TX where she worked in radiology for Medical Plaza Hospital. She left Medical Plaza after years of service and moved back to Tyler TX. There she found her other passion, for kids at The Youth and Family Enrichment Center for many years until moving back to Fort Worth TX. By then her favorite past times were playing bingo and taking short road trips with her sisters. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she touched in so many ways throughout her life. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Ray and Hazel Hill, son Dalon Hill and significant other Roy Dean Lynch. She is survived by her son Demarcus Hill (Bridgette), Arlington, TX, brothers and sisters, Ray Charles Hill, Mesquite, TX, Dewayne Hill (Leta), San Antonio, TX, Cynthia Brown (Ronald), Trinidad, TX, Brenda Smith (Milton), Slaton, TX, Francis Hill Clarkston, GA, Jeanette Pettigrew, Michael Hill (Sheila), Sherry Hill, Roy Hill, Lamar Hill, Edward Hill all of Ft. Worth, TX and Sheila Thomas-Moss, Mesquite, TX, and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.   A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday July 23, 2022, at 1:00 pm.     Gone From Us   Gone from us is that smiling face, the cheerful pleasant ways, the heart that won so many friends, in bygone, happy days. A life made beautiful by kindly deeds, a helping hand for others needs. To a beautiful life, comes a happy end, she died as she lived, everyone’s friend.   By unknown
