Michael Frank Jordan

August 1, 1951 — December 15, 2021

Michael “Mickey” Frank Jordan went to be with his Savior on Wednesday December 15, 2021.  He was born August 1, 1951, in Fort Worth, Texas to Thomas Cook and Linda Mordecai.  He spent lots of time in Chillicothe Texas with his Grandparents before his mother moved to the North Richland Hills.  Mickey was a graduate of Richland Hills High School Class of 1969. After only two weeks of dating Mickey knew Lee Ann Moody was his true love and asked for her hand in marriage.  The two were married on June 12, 1980, at First United Methodist Church in Ft. Worth.  They lived in the Saginaw, Texas area where they raised their three children. Mickey spent his younger years driving a truck before settling down at a job that brought him home every night.  He spent 37 years in Warehouse Management, 21 of those years at The Bombay Company before they closed their doors for good.  In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing whenever he could and as often as he could.  Mickey also spent lots of time either playing or umpiring softball.  He came out of retirement just to play “one more game” more times than anyone could count.  After his softball days were over you could find him cheering on his Grandkids. Mickey knew where his hope came from, and we rejoice that he is whole again in Heaven. Mickey is preceded in death by his mother Linda Mordecai, brother Charles Jordan, and sister Jelyn Crutchley. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Lee Ann Jordan of Fort Worth.  Son Tommy Jordan and wife Audrey of Whitney.  Daughter Sarah Haitz and husband Jeremy of Fort Worth.  Son Timothy Jordan and wife Courtney of Mansfield.  Brother Randy Jordan of Cleburne.  Grandchildren Felisha, David, Connor, Vincent, Kyla, Madison, Cage, Chloe, Isaac, and Hannah. Services will be on Thursday December 30,2021 2:00 PM at Fullness in Christ 8895 Random Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76179.  In lieu of flowers please donate in his name to Alzheimer’s Association.
