Susan Lynn Haney-Wilson

We are sad to announce the death of Susan Lynn Haney-Wilson of Watauga, Texas. After a lengthy illness she died at the age of 68 on Saturday, October 15, 2022. Susan was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma on September 18,1954. She graduated Trimble Tech High School as well as UTA with a bachelor’s degree. Her most recent career was as a Spanish teacher at Richland Middle School. She was married to her husband, John E. Wilson, for 50 years. Susan was actively involved with her church, First Baptist Watauga and regularly volunteered with many of their community outreach ministries. She loved quilting and was an avid reader. Susan is survived by her husband, John E. Wilson, of Watauga, her brother Charles Haney, of Waco, Texas and her two fur babies, Ricky and Ellie. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at First Baptist Watauga, 6124 Plum Street, Watauga, Texas 76148 at 1 PM.
