Thomas Wayne Schindler

Fort Worth, TX
November 9, 1953 - September 23, 2022

Forever in our hearts Today we celebrate his life instead of mourning it. Thomas Wayne Schindler 11-09-1953- 09-23-22   The ones we love never go away; they walk beside us even on this day. Unseen, unheard, yet always nearby, still missed, still loved, and still very dear to our hearts.   Revelation 21:4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have now passed away.   Tommy Schindler, age 68, was born in Fort Worth to Edward and Edna Schindler on November 9th, 1953,  and went to be with our heavenly Father on September 23, 2022. He was a 1972 graduate of Diamond Hill Jarvis High School.   If you knew our dad, you knew how big of a heart he had. He loved people, loved to dance, ,fish, hunt and play bingo, had the biggest charismatic personality, was always the life of the party, and always made people laugh by telling them one of his MANY corny jokes he picked up over the road. His passion was being a truck driver and could tell you off the top of his head how to get anywhere in the US, all the way down to the mile marker. He was basically a walking, human Tom-Tom. I mean, who knows that stuff by heart? He never knew a stranger and would talk to literally anyone. Anytime he met someone new he had to tell them a joke and show off pictures of his family to anyone that would look.  He was proud of his daughters and his grandkids and loved us more than we ever knew. He loved his sisters and brother, his nieces and nephews, and all of his family more than anything in this world. He would’ve given anyone the last dollar out of his pocket or the shirt off his back if he knew you needed it. He is no longer in pain and is in heaven probably fishing about now and waiting for deer season to open, sharing jokes and catching up with his parents, siblings, brothers-in-law, nephews, and the many friends he lost along his journey.   Tommy is survived by his daughter Stacey and husband JD, granddaughters Mackenzie and Kay, daughter Stephanie and husband Travis, his granddaughter and grandson, Laura and Kole, Sisters Mary Flowers and Shirley Arellano, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Edward Schindler, mother Edna Schindler Baird, brother Donald Schindler, sister Dorothy Schindler Williams, brother-in-law Richard Flowers, brother-in-law Raymond Arellano, nephews David Arellano and Steven Lewis.   Visitation will be Friday, September 30, 2022, from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Alpine Funeral home in Fort Worth, Texas. 2300 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111 There will be a graveside service on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 1 pm, in Pilot Point Texas at the St. Thomas Cemetery located. 400 Saint Thomas Aquinas Ave. Pilot Point, Texas. 76258
