Trudy Ann James-Russell

February 12, 1968 — August 31, 2021

Trudy Ann James-Russell, 53, gained her wings on August 31, 2021. It was an unexpected loss, and the family is shocked and deeply saddened.

Trudy was born on February 12, 1968, to Jesse James and Joyce Smith. She attended MacArthur High School in Irving, TX.

Trudy worked as an Accounting Coordinator at Enterprise Holdings for the past five years. She won Employee of the Year in 2017 after winning multiple Employee of the Month awards. She has always worked in the accounting field and met lifelong friends at each company throughout the years.

Anyone who knew Trudy knew that she was kind, caring, loving, and funny. She was a nurturer. Her two girls were her heart, but she was a mom to more than just them. She so loved her husband and was a wonderful friend to many others.

Trudy loved gardening, listening to music, cooking, motorcycles, but most of all, laughing and visiting with her loved ones. Trudy’s family and friends will miss her more than words can say.

Trudy is survived by husband Thomas Russell, daughters Stephani Pritchard and Melissa Pritchard, stepson Zackary Russell, Mother Joyce Smith, brother Danny Overstreet, and sister Rena Patterson. She is preceded in death by former spouse Mark Pritchard, Father Jesse James, and brother Dewayne Overstreet.

There will be a memorial service held at 11:00am on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Alpine Funeral Home located at 2300 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111. If you cannot attend the service, please consider posting on https://alpinefuneralsandcremations.com/.
