Barbara Jeannine Ramsey Martin

Barbara Jeannine Ramsey Martin December 4, 1929 – September 8, 2022 A resident of Benbrook, Texas for 62 years, Barbara passed away peacefully on Thursday September 8, 2022. She was born in Fort Worth to Whitwell D. and Winnie Ola Ramsey.  In 1955, Barbara married James Malcolm Martin of Marathon, Texas.  They were happily married for almost 50 years, until his death in 2004.  Barbara is survived by her three children, Melissa (Douglas) O’Hern, Biddy Martin, and Melanie (Michael) Kenyon, two grandchildren, Delainy (Brandon) O’Hern Rodgers and Jasper D. James Kenyon, as well as several nieces and nephews.  Funeral: private.   The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff at Windsor Court Senior Living and Memory Care in Weatherford, Texas and St. Gabriel’s Hospice Care for all the love and care given to Barbara.   Memorials:  In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to Alzheimer’s Association or an animal shelter or animal rescue of your choice, in her memory, is suggested.
