Barbara Ann Klopner

Barbara Ann Klopner was born on June 23, 1942 in Butterfield, Missouri to the late Orvilla (McQueen) Gaige and Wrightsman Lawrence Gaige. She passed away on December 22, 2024 at home in Crowley, Texas at the age of 82. 

Barbara was a talented seamstress and worked at Sadie’s Bridal Shop in Fort Worth. She was a devoted Christian and was a committed member of Seminary South Assembly of God Church where she was an active part of the women’s ministry. Barbara loved to read. She was a collector of hummingbirds and was very technically savvy. She enjoyed music by the Gaither family but her true love was her family. She was a proud mother and Nanny and will be dearly missed. 

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Lewis Klopner; siblings, Rex Gaige, Jerry Gaige, Jackie Gaige, Joe Gaige, Lonnie Gaige, and Ronnie Gaige. 

She is survived by her daughters, Jerri Klopner of Crowley; Daphne Mena and husband, Steve of Grandview; and Deena White and husband Terry of Burleson; grandchildren, Lauren Mena; London Kissinger and husband, Kameron; Stetson Pedigo and husband, Christian; Ryan Breedlove and wife, Rachael; Madison Moore and husband, Corey; Reese Breedlove and wife, Meagan; great grandchildren, Harrison Kissinger, Kamlyn Breedlove, Kiarra Breedlove, and Sawyer Moore; sister, Patricia Smith and husband, Francis of Crowley; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of friends. 

Visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 26, 2024 followed by funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at Harvest Assembly of God Church located at 7501 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76134. Interment will follow at Burleson Memorial Cemetery.
