Bruce Alan Howard

Bruce Alan Howard, 72, of Bedford, Texas, passed from this life peacefully on Thursday, March 6, 2025. Bruce was born September 10, 1952 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Lester and Gradene Howard. He grew up in Hurst, Texas and graduated L. D. Bell High School in 1971.

In 1973, Bruce married the love of his life, Jan (Crocker) Howard and they made their home in Bedford, Texas. Jan remained his life partner and best friend throughout his life.

Bruce retired form American Airlines following many years of dedicated service. After his retirement he and Jan were able to spend their time together and enjoyed being able to have occasional weekend getaways.

Bruce had talent and passion for working in his extensive wood shop. As a young person he loved being an Eagle Scout and continued to love the outdoors by gardening.

Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Jan of Bedford, Texas; sister, Shelly Howard VanAller of Hurst, Texas; brother-in-law, Bob Blanchard of Eustace, Texas; brother-in-law, Hank Beidleman and his wife, Sharon of Garland, Texas; as well as many nieces and nephews.

There will be no public services. Those wishing to can make a donation in his name to the Golden Retriever Rescue of North Texas. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers and understanding our need for privacy at this time.
