Cecilia "Cissy" Ramos

Cecilia " Cissy " Ramos , 70 returned to her heavenly home on April 15, 2019 after a valiant battle with a long illness. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace.   Cissy was born in Lubbock, Tx February 19, 1949 to the late Ruby and Ulalio Salazar, she was a loving wife and took pride in being a homemaker and being a great cook. She loved to be home , shopping and at church where she would sing praises to the Lord above, God blessed Cissy with the voice of an Angel. She was a Godly woman who you could turn to for love, compassion, kind words, and godly wisdom. She never turned anyone away especially family, she took pride in having huge holiday get togethers at her house and made everyone feel welcome. Cissy and Jim Ramos were married for 35 years . They were blessed with 3 children, Robert , Libby, and Gemini Ramos. Cissy is survived by her son Robert Ramos and wife Lisa Ramos, daughter Libby Ramos and husband unknown at this time; her grandchildren, Isaac Ramos, Isreal Ramos, Eric Ramos, Justin Flores, Mona Basaldu, Savannah Ramos and great-grandchildren Avery, Kyle, Bentley, Atticus, Bella, Calli, Ezekiel, Nathan, Kylab, and Serenity. Brothers Danny, Martin, Roy, Sam, Jimmy, and Carlos Salazar. There will be a viewing at Alpine funeral home on April 22, 2019 from 10:00 a.m.-12 noon service will be followed at Greenwood Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her creator.
