Clifford (Cliff) Victor Masure, 64, died peaceful during his sleep at home on January 27, 2018, in Springtown,Texas, after a 3 years and 11 months battle with Throat Cancer. Cancer Sucks!
Cliff was born on April 26, 1953, at Mt. Clemens, Michigan to Victor Virgil Masure and Mary Ann (Dockter) Masure. Cliff has one sister, Alyce (Masure) Brown (Doug) who resides in Sparta, Michigan
Cliff married Susan (Badertscher) Masure on April 14, 1973. They were blessed with three boys, Chad, Troy and Jeff. Susan and Cliff divorced in 2003. During their marriage they lived in several cities in Texas and Michigan. Finally settling back to Fort Worth, Texas area. He was very proud of his three sons and their achievements in life.
Cliff married Cinda (Paulus-Hetherington) Masure on October 31, 2009. Their next door neighbor friendship blooming into a loving relationship for which they felt blessed to have. Building a life in Springtown, Texas.
Cliff graduated from Utica High School, Utica, Michigan in 1971. He held many lifetime friendships some/many going all the way back to Kindergarten. Keeping in touch with so many of them through social media and technology.
Cliff had many business adventures but mainly in the carpet cleaning industry. He enjoyed public speaking in seminars for the industry. He also did construction, delivery, and sales work. He was the best at telling people “that’s amazing” while they went on their way thinking it was a compliment. One of his famous quotes "They are two ways to do things, my way and wrong." But that’s a story for the party.
Cliff and his wife, Cinda, enjoyed motorcycling, baking bread together and cooking. He was known for his wonderful barbeque burnt chicken and ribs! He enjoyed being outside taking care of his property, building fires (and Smokey the Bear he was not!), and especially lawn mowing while enjoying a beer! Cliff enjoyed telling stories and in general talking. Like he would say “He loved to hear the sound of his own voice!” He was a fighter to the end of this disease, trying to always smile and crack a joke with those around him.
He is survived by his wife, Cinda. His three sons, Chad (Heather) Masure, Troy (Nicole) Masure and Jeff (CJ Ponce) Masure. Two step-children, Holly Root and Bryan Hetherington.
