David Benjamin Lee, Jr.
Born 1927 in Ore City, Gilmer County and grew up in Beckville. East Texas. He joined the United States Air Force at the age of 18 and retired after 20 years of service. He then went to work at Bell Helicopter for 27 years with 25 years in a supervisory capacity. After retirement he loved to keep a garden and keep neighbors supplied with vegetables. He met his wife Dora while serving in Mallorca, Spain in 1961 and they married on the Rock of Gibraltar in 1963 then returned to the United States to live in Texas. He is survived by his wife Dora, sister Frances Price and her husband Johnny Price, sister Josaphine Rankin and brother William Lee and his wife Joann, nieces and nephews living in various states and nieces and nephews in England, also great nieces and nephews. He will always be in all our hearts. He will rest at the Veterans Cemetery. The family requests no flowers, donations to either the Diabetes Research Foundation or Alzheimer Research. He is preceded in death by his (adopted) daughter Monique Pratt and brother Gordon Lee.Visits: 14
