Diane Bond Combs, 72, passed away on October 4, 2018 at home in the company of her loving daughters after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, October 11 at the Arlington Seventh-day Adventist church at 1:00 PM.
Born in Temple Texas she was the daughter of Clinton and Hazel Bond. She graduated from Temple High School then went on to Loma Linda University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy. She worked as a home health Physical Therapist for 50 years.
Diane was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend. She was a member of the Arlington Seventh-day Adventist church for 30 years. She enjoyed singing in her church choir, lunching with her friends, a passion for snow skiing, traveling the world, and “going to the show”!
She was blessed by a close personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and clearly understood that her life on earth was just temporary. Her forever home is in heaven.
She is survived by her daughters and their husbands: Denise and Ty Blevins, Renee and Kevin Crawford, and Tami and Brain Highley, seven grandchildren: Austin and Spencer Blevins, Madeleine, Annalise and Olivia Crawford, and Stephen and Jaden Ailshie, as well as her precious companion dog, Ginger. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Clinton Bond, Jr.
