Donald Eugene Boyd

Donald Eugene Boyd, 79, of Alvarado TX passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 28, 2019 after a valiant battle with lung cancer. Donald is survived by his son Roy David Boyd and wife Candice of Joshua, TX, his stepson Kenny Lovell and wife Beverly of Fort Worth, TX, and stepdaughter Lois Melvin of Alvarado, TX. He leaves to cherish is memory siblings: Vanetta, Christie, Rusty, Mary Katherine, Carolyn, Johnny, and Diane, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, stepmother Mary Ann Boyd, and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Eugene Boyd and Ella Fay, beloved wife Jean Boyd and son Jamish Boyd. The family will hold a Celebration of Life on Thursday January 2, 2020 from 3pm-6 pm at his home in Alvarado, TX.
