Elisabeth Carolyn (Yoder) Dobbs

Elisabeth Carolyn (Yoder) Dobbs, 74, of Haltom City, Texas, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022.  Carolyn was born on October 29, 1947 in Fort Worth, Texas to Harry Gilstrap Yoder (who called Carolyn by the nickname of “Boogie”) and Dorothy Marie Yoder, both of whom preceded her in death. Carolyn graduated from Polytech High School in 1966.  She married the love of her life and soulmate, Loyd Raymond (Sonny) Dobbs Jr., on August 10, 1968 and was married for 53 years.  Carolyn was a wonderful homemaker who was very involved in her daughters’ school activities.  She loved attending her daughters’ band concerts, marching band events and orchestra concerts.   Carolyn will be dearly missed by her husband and two daughters, Rhonda Dobbs Franklin with husband Shawn, and Laura Dobbs Williams with husband Barry. Carolyn leaves behind 3 beautiful grandchildren: Ben Williams, Kensie Franklin, and Kaylie Franklin.  She is also survived by three brothers: Rob Yoder, Lester Yoder with wife Genny, and Gil Yoder with wife Linda, along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
