Gloria Jean Jones

Gloria Jean Jones, 64, of North Richland Hills, Texas, died at 10:09am, Monday, October 3, 2016. She was born December 26, 1951 in Fort Worth, Texas, to Earnest and Wauda Schooler and was sister to Jim Schooler.  She married Larry Dan Jones in 1970, he passed in 2009.   She is survived by her children Dee Andrea, Jennifer Leigh, Jeffery Corbett and their respective families. She was “Nana” to Devin, Annadee and Nathan Koerber; Ellie Crowe; Colby, Logan, Connor and Brookelynn Jones.   She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was patient with both people and animals and possessed a gentle spirit. She loved horses and dogs the most. Her passion for television and movies was evident and she liked to share it wherever possible, especially the westerns. You often heard her telling stories about the deer lease with her husband and their lifelong friends as she loved to be outdoors having a good time. In recent years she made sure the family and pets visited for Sunday Dinners, gathering together with her no matter who was in the “hot seat”.   Gloria leaves behind a legacy and heads home to be with the Lord and her parents and husband. She will be remembered by her friends, family, and the many hearts she touched in her lifetime.   Memorial Services will be held between 2pm – 4pm Sunday, October 09 at Alpine Funeral Home, 2300 North Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111.
