Haskell Ed Standifer

Mr. Haskell Ed Standifer died at Heartland Health Care Center on April 5, 2017 in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 80. Ed is survived by his wife Donna, daughter Christie and husband John Morgan, siblings, Nancy, Mary, Joe, Clinton and Doyle, grandchildren, Brittney, Haley, Riley , Reece, and Marlie, and great granddaughter, Grayson Hernandez. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ola and Nettie Standifer, and siblings, Jimmy, Jerry, Earl Standifer and Norma Todd. Ed was born on the 31st of October 1936 in Revenna, Texas to Ola and Nettie Standifer. After graduating high school Ed joined the Marine Corps. in 1958. He served for six years before being honorably discharged. After moving to Fort Worth, Ed began working for Bell Helicopter where he had over a 25 year career. He married Donna on October 31, 1984. Over their 33 years of marriage, the couple raised a family who will always remember Ed as a caring and outgoing father and pawpaw. He encouraged them all to pursue their goals and never take no for an answer. A Memorial Service will be held at Lighthouse Fellowship Church at 2:00pm Monday, April 10, 2017 7200 Robertson Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76135 All are welcome to attend and celebrate his life.
