JC Porter Age 80 passed away Wednesday January 17, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was a godly, loving and caring man. He wanted everyone to know God and become a Christian. JC was born November 28, 1937 in his home in Azle TX to Bill Porter and Neville (Johnson) Porter. He is the youngest of 12 siblings. He served in the United States Air Force From 1957-1959. In 1964 he began his career as a Fort Worth Police Officer, where he later retired in 1990. Soon after retiring he went on to be a Tarrant County bailiff for 8 more years. He is survived by his daughters, Jeannie Tristan husband Mark, Leslie Shoemaker husband Jim and mother of his daughters Elizabeth Porter. Grandchildren Cody Tristan, Autumn Tristan, James Webb, Khristy Webb, Jennifer McDonald, Brandon Shoemaker, Joseph McDonald, and Summer Shoemaker. Siblings Newt Porter, Mary Ann Porter, and Irma Lee Gouyton. 19 Great grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild He is preceded in death by his father Bill Porter, mother Neville Porter and Daughter Barbara Webb. Visitation will be Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Alpine Funeral Home 2300 North Sylvania Fort Worth TX 76111 from 1-3pm. Funeral will be held Monday January 22, 2018 at Ash Creek Baptist Church 300 S Stewart St Azle TX 76020 at 11 am.
