Jeffrey Kyle "Pooh Bear" Stephens

Jeffrey Kyle "Pooh Bear" Stephens left this earth tragically on October 14th, 2022 at the age of 50. Jeff was born April 25th, 1972 at a whopping 11 lbs (which he's always been very proud of) to Ralph and Nola Stephens. He had two older Sister's, Tina and Marlo, who were very excited for him to come home. Jeff attended Diamond Hill Elementary, First Baptist Church of Watauga and graduated from Diamond Hill Jarvis in 1989. A picture in the bathroom led him to the love of his life, Jessica Davis. They married May 23rd, 1993 and never parted for 26 years until Jessica lost her battle with cancer on August 10th, 2019. During this union, Jeff became the proud father to two beautiful Daughter's, Catrina and Cayley. They were his and Jessica's pride and joy, they loved them both very much. Jeffrey did different jobs throughout his life such as roofing and construction. His most recent being with Dallas Door and Supply for 7 years. Jeff was a family man, who had a huge heart, loved spending time with family and friends at gatherings, trips, fishing, cooking, watching MMA, and NASCAR. He also enjoyed animals, the great outdoors, loud music, scary movies, looking sharp and smelling good but most of all, he loved to laugh, trying to get others to laugh and if you didn't, he'd pester you till you did. So remember Jeff today and always in a funny memory, he loved each of you!!! Jeffrey was preceded in death by his Wife Jessica, his Father, Ralph, Grandparents, Marvin Stephens and Edith Guisinger, Charles and Bessie Cook, Great Niece Scottlynn Rose,numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Jeffrey is survived by his Daughter's Catrina and Cayley, Mother, Nola, Sister's Tina (George) Gutierrez and Marlo (JD) Allen, Aunt Ella Cook, Nieces Elisha (Jason) Richardson, Shawnee (Michael) Haggard, Alana Franklin, Nephew Anthony Gutierrez, Great Nephew Taylor Gutierrez and Mikey Haggard, Great Nieces Brooke Richardson, Jaclyn Haggard and Aspen Gutierrez along with numerous Cousin's and his lifelong friend (Brother) of 46 years Jason Sarlow and his second Mother, Jason's Mom, Carol Ann Jordan, plus several extended members of Jessica's side of the family. Celebration of life will be held at 11am on November 5, 2022 at Alpine Funeral Home. In lieu of any floral donations, we ask that everyone put that towards donations / money for his two daughters. We will have a card box located next to the guest book before entering the service room. We appreciate all the love, prayers, hugs etc sent to the family. Thank you all so much.
