J.J. as he was called, was born on Tuesday, August 5, 1975 in Fort Worth, Texas. He passed away at the age of 46 in his home in Haltom City, Texas on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. Survived by his daughter: Kaylie McShan. Father and Wife: Jerry and Judi Martin. Mother and Husband: Nelda and Steve Kimball. Stepfather: David Stephens. Sisters: Jenell Thornton, Corby Martin and Katelyn Saenz. Stepbrother: Taylor Stockum. Nephew: Hank Thornton. Nieces: Raegan Keasler and Serena Saenz. Along with many other family members and friends. J.J. was a jack of all trades, with the ability to fix or build anything. He was always there to give a helping hand no matter what. J.J. loved the outdoors. He would either be fishing, driving the boat on the lake, hunting, or gathered around the bonfire. One of his other passions was bowling. J.J. received countless numbers of achievements in leagues and tournaments that include perfect score 300 games. Those that truly knew J.J.; knew that he was the biggest teddy bear with a huge heart that loved his nephew and nieces like they were his own. He was their protector and made a huge impact in their lives. He will be deeply missed by everyone. J.J. is preceded in death by his son Kolt Garrett Martin. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 3rd at Alpine Funeral Home 2300 N. Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111 from 6pm to 8pm.
