Johnnie M. Walker, also known as Tuffy and JW passed away unexpectedly on January 16th, 2025 in Conroe, Texas. He tested positive for Covid on the 12th and influenza on the 15th. He had difficulty in breathing and couldn't be resuscitated after going to the ER.

Johnnie is survived by 2 daughters; Sarah Tessmar and Rachael Walker, 5 grandchildren; Ashlynn, Evah, Dylan, Stella and Luke, sisters; Veronica Avirett, Monica Snyder and Patricia Hart, brothers; Gerald Walker Jr., Doran Walker, John Crosley Step Mother, Linda Walker and a host of family and friends.

Johnnie is preceded in death by his Father and Mother and both sets of Grandparents.

He was born October 27th, 1958 in Cleburne Tx. Johnnie was 66 years old.

Johnnie enjoyed Sunday services at The Ark Church in Conroe where he formed many friendships. He was a great chess player and loved watching football and listening to classic rock music.

Visitation is scheduled at Alpine Funeral Home located at 2300 N Sylvania Ave., Fort Worth, Texas 76111 on 1/22/25 from 1 pm to 3 pm. All are welcome to attend. Johnnie will be cremated following the visitation. 

Johnnie loved animals and the family ask that in lieu of flowers, that donations be given to your local animal shelters.
