Kenneth D. Stewart

Kenneth D. Stewart, 91, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022, at a local hospital. Born on August 6, 1931, he was a lifelong resident of Fort Worth having been raised on the North Side and graduating from North Side High School in 1949. Kenneth retired from Bell Helicopter in 1994 after 30 years of service. Earlier employment includes the Stripling Dairy and Taystee Bread Co. He was preceded in death by parents Willie B. and Iris Stewart and brother Daryl Stewart. Survivors include his wife of 63 years Martha Stewart, brothers David Stewart of Fort Worth and Tom Stewart of Egan. Sons Alan McGowan and wife Angela, Barry Stewart, Lindy Stewart and wife Sophia, all of Fort Worth. Grandchild Nicholas McGowan and Great Granddaughters Jaylyn and Avery McGowan. Graveside service at 1:00 pm on Thursday December 29, 2022 at Laurel Land Cemetery.
