Larry Dwayne McClathey

It is with great sadness that we announce that our loved one Larry Dewayne McClatchey, 67 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 in Rowlett, Texas. Larry was born in Fort Worth, Texas on January 28, 1951 to Ocie Lee Reese and Silas McClatchey. He grew up in Comanche, Texas on a farm which he loved. Larry was a truck driver and loved traveling all over the US, he would always come home baring gifts to all his children, nieces and nephews. He loved to gamble and stop at the casinos and play the lotto, he would say if you don’t play you can’t win. Larry was survived by his daughter’s Sonja McClatchey, Melissa McClatchey and son’s Dewayne McClatchey and Robert McClatchey and daughter-in-law Sashien McClatchey. Grandchildren Ashley, Becca, Della, David, Jacob, Lyndsey, Karen, Mylissa, Nadia, Landen and Ilene. Great Grandchildren Natalie, Victoria and Hezakia. Also survived by sisters Linda Bell and Loretta Adams and many nieces and nephews. Larry was proceeded in death by his mother Ocie Lee Reese and father Silas McClatchey and son Vance McClatchey and daughter Michelle Louise McClatchey. He will be greatly missed and always remembered and loved. Family service will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2018 to celebrate his life and love.
