A memorial service for Lillian “Faye” Harris, age 67, of Ft. Worth, Texas, will be held 4:00 pm Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at Christian Center of Fort Worth, located 4301 NE 28
th St., Haltom City, TX, 76117.
Mrs. Faye Harris passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Stonegate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fort Worth, Texas after a sudden decline in health.
Cremation is under the direction of Alpine Funeral Home, Fort Worth.
Faye Harris was born December 29, 1953, in Dallas, Texas to Rev. John and Mrs. Dorothy Reeves. As a preacher’s family, they moved quite frequently. On June 21, 1982, she married the love of her life, John Dalton Harris. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for twenty-five years. Her favorite assignment was as a neonatal nurse, although she was very nurturing to everyone she met - patients, family members, friends, and strangers. She was a devout Christian and loving wife, mother and grandmother (Neenee).
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, James Robert Gerald Reeves, , and Marvin Wayne Reeves.
She is survived by:
- Her brother and sisters - Franklin Lavoy Reeves of Mansfield, Texas, Mary Nell O’Conner of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Emily Granger of Morgan, Texas.
- Her children - Amy Belen Capers (and Casey Williams) of Azle, Texas, Heath Landon Johnson (and Melinda Peet) of Austin, Texas, and (stepdaughter) Amy Kara (and Tom) Hensley of Frederick, Oklahoma.
- Her grandchildren – Natalie Horn of Pittsburg, Texas, Alec Capers of Culpepper, Virginia, Nathaniel (and Susie) Capers of Lake City, Florida, DeLayna (and Quade) Basham of Frederick, Oklahoma and Douglas Basham of Frederick, Oklahoma.
- And five great grandchildren.
