Lois Raymond Barrow was born on December 22, 1942 in Midlothian, Texas to the late Francis Juanita Gilbert and Lois Lincoln Barrow. He passed away on November 12, 2024, in Decatur, Texas at the age of 81.
Lois was an amazing man. He worked hard and often worked multiple jobs to take care of his family. Lois worked for the Hurst-Euless-Bedford School District for 14 years. He also had his own business most of his life of being a mechanic, roofer and scrapper. Lois loved cars and would never turn down the chance to take on fixing another one. If he wasn’t out tinkering and scrapping you could find Lois at home watching westerns and he never once missed wrestling.
Lois was a loving father and grandfather. He was always playful, even when he was giving you a hard time it was with love. You always knew he would be there for you. Towards the middle of his life, Lois became a more active believer and became more involved in church. He would often bless his loved ones and friends with his beautiful singing voice. Often singing his favorite country and gospel songs.
Lois is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Shirley Smith; brother, Ronnie Barrow; brother, James Barrow; brother, Charles Barrow; brother, Danny Barrow; brother, L.A. Barrow; and son, Raymond Barrow.
He is survived by son, Tony Barrow; daughter, Rayma Barrow; daughter, Renea Barrow; daughter, Maleatha Padilla; daughter, Paula Paiva; son, Jeffery Barrow; daughter, Davella Leonard; daughter, Mylissa Waters; daughter, Rachel Wolfe; son, Mark Barrow; son, Joshua Barrow; sister, Dorothy Burdette; brother, Ricky Barrow; brother, Chester Barrow; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
To honor Lois, a visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, and funeral service starting at 3:00 PM, Saturday, November 16, 2024 at the Williams and Lucas Funeral Chapel at 517 N Sylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76111 under the direction of Alpine Funeral Home.
