Maria Teresa Garcia

María Teresa García nació el 27 de septiembre de 1952 en Devine,Texas al fallecido Lyonicia y Sylvester Ortiz. Ella falleció temprano en la mañana del 22 de diciembre de 2023.  A María le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Lyonicia y Silvestre Ortiz; y hermanos, Pepe y Jesse. Le sobreviven su esposo, Lelo Carbajal de Fort Worth; niños, Manuel Luis García de Fort Worth; Audelio “Del” Carbajal, Jr. de Fort Worth; Rubén Lee Carbajal de Fort Worth y Gina Marie Carbajal también de Fort Worth; nietos, jonathan, Jacob, Brooklyn, Alaina, la hija de Ruben Lee, Gia Gutiérrez, Alanis, Alexia, Dorian, Logan y un niño en el camino. También le sobreviven su hermana Lupe y su hermano, Juan; numerosas sobrinas, sobrinos, familiares extendidos y una multitud de amigos.

Maria Teresa Garcia was born on September 27, 1952 in Devine, Texas to the late Lyonicia Ortiz and Sylvester Garcia. She passed away  early morning on December 22, 2023.

Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Lyonicia Ortiz and Sylvester Garcia; and brothers, Pepe and Jesse.

She is survived by her husband, Lelo Carbajal of Fort Worth; children, Manuel Luis Garcia of Fort Worth; Audelio “Del” Carbajal, Jr of Fort Worth; Ruben Lee Carbajal of Fort Worth and Gina Marie Carbajal also of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Jonathan, Jacob,  Brooklyn, Alaina, the daughter of Ruben Lee, Gia Gutierrez, Alanis, Alexia, Dorian, Logan and a baby boy on the way. She is also survived by her sister, Lupe and brother, Juan; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held at Williams and Lucas Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, December 28, 2023. A short viewing and visitation will also be held at Williams and Lucas Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 29, 2023 before traveling in procession to Oak Wood Cemetery in Fort Worth for a 11:30 A.M. Committal and Graveside service.
