Marie Lysette Canizales was born in Fort Worth on October 22, 1989 to Elisa Zamora Sanchez and Sergio Canizales and passed away suddenly on October 29, 2017. Marie lived in the Fort Worth area and graduated from Everman C. Bean High School in 2008. Afterward, she went on to study psychology at Tarrant County College and eventually made a career in taking care of children.
Marie was a wonderful mother to her son, Dylan, and loved her family dearly. While she possessed a sharp intelligence and a great sense of humor, it was equaled with her strong-willed determination to help create a brighter future for Dylan and herself. Her family will profoundly miss Marie, her laughter, and kind, sweet spirit.
Marie is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Jose Canizales. She is survived by son, Dylan; mother, Elisa Zamora Sanchez; stepfather, Elmo Sanchez; father, Sergio Canizales; brothers, Zacarias and Ruben Canizales; Dylan’s father, Antonio Williams; paternal grandmother, Julia Mendoza Canizales; maternal grandparents, Antonia and Zacarias Zamora; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A service celebrating Marie Lysette’s life will be held at First United Methodist Church in Burleson, Texas on Thursday, November 2, 2017 beginning at 5:30 p.m. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 for family and friends from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Alpine Funeral Home at 2300 N Sylvania Ave. Fort Worth, Texas.
