Marjorie (Marge) Eller, 92, has moved to Heaven !!!!
She was born on August 10,1929 in Borger, TX to James & Opal (Frysinger) Mixon. Marge died on November 30,2021 after long fight with breast cancer in North Richland Hills, TX. She endured hard physical labor on the family farm West of Lubbock, TX. Marge lost a brother with an enlarged heart; another brother to pneumonia; & a final brother during WW2. After graduating from Whitharral High School & Lubbock Business College, she wed Jack Eller on October 7, 1949 & remained married until his death on January 3, 2006 (56 years).
Marge loved to eat, socialize, play dominoes & cards, spoiling her daughter’s dog, Oscar & especially League Bowling. She was very competitive, but never let losing spoil her day. Marge loved going on bus trips to different cities for bowling tournaments. In August 2016, Marge moved to North Richland Hills, TX to be closer to her children. At age 87, she continued league bowling three times a week like she had done in Lubbock for over fifty years. Only the Chinese Pandemic stopped her bowling endeavors. Marge is survived by daughter, Beverly Ann Eller Campbell & husband Terry, Breckenridge, TX; son Mike Eller & wife Karin, Ft Worth, TX; sister Betty Mixon Horton, Andrews, TX & numerous nieces, nephews & dear friends. Informal Celebration of Life on Saturday, December 18, 2021, 2-4PM at Broadway Funeral Directors, 1901 Broadway, Lubbock. No flowers, please donate American Cancer Society.
