Matthew Glenn Shelley

It is with a heavy heart to announce the death of Mathew G. Shelley. 

Matthew went to be with his lord and savior on April 11, 2023 at the age of 54.

He was born December 25 Survived by his wife of 33 years, Barbara Shelley, daughters Candace and Tiffany,  son in-laws Alex and Seth, and ended up with 8 total grandchildren! His siblings were Bill, Henry(tiny) and Reggie Shelley. Numerous beloved nieces, nephews, and friends and preceded in death by Alice and Henry Shelley.

He was a kind and compassionate man who took pride in his family, his job with the City of Euless, and any task or project he did. He was quick witted with jokes and comebacks, changing lyrics of songs to create parodies, and an excellent problem solver. If you were family, a friend, or even a stranger that needed help fixing something, if he knew how, he would help and even try to teach you along the way.  Matt was the life of the party. He could make friends with anyone and would do anything to make someone smile/ laugh. He's befriended many people over the years and some are lifelong friends. It was easy for him. He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed by all of us.
