Max Ray Casteel

Max Ray Casteel of Watauga passed away Thursday July 19, 2018. He was born May 3, 1949, in Dallas, Texas and was preceded in death by his daughters, Chandra And Michelle Casteel, his son, Michael Casteel, his mother, Mary Jo, his father, Pleasant, and his brother, Calvin David. Max's laughter, wit, and sense of humor will be greatly missed. Heavens Chief Financial Officer is on notice that Max intends to take it with him and will expect a strict accounting for every cent! He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Casteel, sisters, Joann, Frances, Janie, Wanda, Kathy, Betty, Ruthy and  many nieces and nephews and countless friends. Visitation will be held on Monday July 23, 2018 from 6:00p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Alpine Funeral Home, 2300 N. Sylvania Ave. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday July 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery, 5725 Colleyville Blvd.
