Michael “Mike” Dean Ginder died on December 12th, 2016 in Fort Worth, TX. He was born July 10th, 1945 in Dallas, TX. His funeral will be at the Dallas/Fort Worth National
Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Grand Prairie, TX 75211) on December 27that 10:30am. Afterwards, family and friends are invited to Golden Corral at 2820 I-20 West, Grand Prairie, TX 75052 for a memorial where stories and memories may be shared. This will be a Dutch date event. Cost with drink is 11.99 per person. We will be in a private room. The room has been reserved under the name Belinda Ginder. After serving in the Navy, Mike lived most of his life in and around the Dallas/Fort Worth area. He held several jobs including Auto Mechanic, Carpenter, and Draftsman. In his retirement,he spent several years caring for his cats and playing online games with his son and grandchildren, through which he reconnected with them. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Gaudry Detrech JR. (GD), his mother, Vernelda Laverne Fields (Laverne), his brother-in-law, Jerry Dudley, and his beloved cat, Thomas. Mike is survived by his son, David and his wife, Belinda; daughter, Sarah and her husband, Rick Berry; grandchildren, Daniel and his wife Sharon, Anthony, RachelAnn Ginder, Gabrielle, and Brigid Berry; great grandchildren, Crystal, Lexi, and Triston; sisters, Paula Dudley, and Karen with her husband Jack Blackmon; his brother, Karl Ginder; Numerous other family members; And long-time best friend, Ricky Straub
