Michael James Miner passed away on September 11, 2024 in Arlington, Texas at the age of 39 years old. Michael Miner was born in Florida on July 21, 1986 to Lynn and Jim Miner.
Michael enjoyed spending time working on cars, servicing work trucks and equipment as well as cleaning up the property his father James “Jim” lived on. Michael worked as a life guard, rode four wheelers and spent time at the beach with family and friends in his free time.
Serving in the United States Army was one of Michael’s greatest accomplishments in his life. He cherished the memories, deployments and stateside shenanigans he shared with countless fellow Soldiers who became family for life to him. Michael achieved many metals throughout his time in service. Michael served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. His duty stations included Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri for basic training, South Korea for his first active duty station and his final and longest assigned duty station was Fort Hood, Texas.
Michael was a man who enjoyed life in the moment. He loved fishing, RC cars, fixing cars and trucks as well as helping others any way he could. Creating, building and improving on anything that he could was always how Michael saw the world. Michael genuinely had a knack for learning new things from geology to cars to machining and so much more. He had gone to school for auto/diesel, CNC machining, and was currently in school for welding at his passing.
Michael is preceded in death by his late father James “Jim” Miner. Michael is survived by his wife, Jeanie Miner, Children; Aiden Miner, Noah Miner, Autumn Miner, Tessa Miner, Ella Miner, and Angel Miner.
