Morris Gene Fuller

Morris Gene Fuller, 61 passed away on February 5th 2021 at his home on Sunnybrook in Burleson Texas        He was born February 19th 1959 in Cleburne Texas to Benny Gene  and Anna Darlynn Fuller.   Morris grew up in Burleson Texas. He graduated from Burleson High School in Burleson Texas in 1977. After High school he went to work for Leroy’s Automotive in Burleson Texas  as a mechanic and found his passion for cars, he later worked for Al Thompson’s automotive in Fort Worth Texas, for a few years he owned his own shop off of 1902 restoring old cars and later in life worked for All Steel fabrications in Fort Worth Texas for 18 years.   Morris was not married at his time of death. He enjoyed guns, photography and working on cars, going to car shows and spending time with his son Colton.   Morris was proceeded in death by his mother Anna Darlynn Fuller on January 9th 2021. Morris is survived by his father Benny Gene Fuller and his wife Jo of Duncan Oklahoma, his sister Marla Robinson and her husband James of Burleson Texas, his daughter Amanda McElvany of Alvorado,  his son Colton Knofs of Burleson Texas, his nephew Brett Cheslock of Burleson Texas and his nieces Amberlin Mettler and Holly Robinson of Burleson Texas.   With Covid still being out there we will not have a viewing or a memorial to keep everyone safe, The family will have a traditional memorial at a later point in time.   Morris battled colorectal cancer for the last year of his life, he leaves behind many other people he loved and treasured, please keep those in your prayers.   The family wishes to extend their gratitude to everyone who came to see Morris before he passed, The nurses for making his day by telling him he looked like Sam Elliot,The Careplus hospice team you guys made his life so much easier. Thank you   Having my brother back home, even for a short time was a true blessing for me, I will cherish every moment I had with him, it was an honor to be able to have him with me.   In his own words, I will live as long as I can and after that I’ll still be there.
