Myrna Lee Billedeaux Harjo age 80 died Thursday May 19th, 2022 in fort Worth at her home surrounded by her children.
Myrna is survived by her Uncle John Harrison of Browning, brother Lloyd and (Mary Lee) Wippert of Valier, Montana, Russell Matt of Kiowa, Mt. daughters Anita Arcand of Browning, Sheri Harjo Isbell of fort Worth, two sons Carl and Frank Harjo of Fort Worth 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Myrna is preceded in death by her grandparents Frank and Cecile Harrison of Browning, parents Carl Cleo and Lucille Billedeaux of Browning brother Edward Billedeaux of Browning husband Muriel Harjo of Weleetka Oklahoma daughter Lori Dee Billedeaux Ingram of Browning, grandson Joe Ray Upham of Browning, numerous cousins, aunts and uncles
Myrna was born November 20th, 1941. in Browning Montana on the Blackfeet reservation. she attended Browning and Babb public schools also Chemawa Indian School. In 1967 Myrna met her husband and then she traveled with him and lived in many states across the country. her travels ended in Fort Worth, Texas. in 1980 she became a lifelong resident. she had five children Lori Dee, Anita, Carl, Frank and Sheri. Myrna started her own business and worked many years as a contract driver for GMC leasing and eventually retired from CARQUEST Auto. Myrna loved all of her children and grandchildren.family is everything to her she also enjoyed picnicing, camping, dancing and traveling. She was a great pool player and enjoyed playing cards. Myrna has always had a heart of gold. She loved cooking huge southern meals and everyone was always welcome in her home and to a meal. A very generous and loving woman who will be sadly missed.
