Robin Sue Jones Walker, 73, passed away on 1/22/22 after a brief illness.
She will be sorely missed by those of us who loved her sunny disposition!
Robin was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota in December of 1948.
She grew up in Fargo, raised by her parents Joyce and Herb Jones.
She was the first homecoming queen at Fargo North High School in 1966!
Upon graduation, she attended NDSU and was a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority.
In 1970, she moved to San Antonio, Texas with her first husband, Park Lawrence.
Her two daughters were born there, Nicole and Tana.
Her marriage dissolved, and a few years later in 1985 she married the love of her life, Delbert Walker.
Del and Robin lived in the Bay Area of California for 25 years, then returned to Texas to be closer to family.
She loved lunches at Panera, a sincere laugh, getting pedicures, journaling and self-awareness, binging Netflix, eating frozen yogurt, and above all else, her family.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Del Walker, who was her world;
Her daughters Nicole Barr and Tana Lawrence and son-in-law Rob Barr;
Her grandson William Barr who constantly beat her at board games;
Her siblings Herb Jones and Cindy Jones who she constantly called for support;
Her brother Mike Jones, and her adult stepdaughters and stepsons.
Robin was imperfectly perfect, and a beautiful soul.
She would tell anyone reading this to smile more, pray more, never part ways without giving a hug, and of course, call your mom more often.
