Stephen Eugene Puckett

August 1, 1955 — July 9, 2020

Stephen Eugene Puckett was born on August 1, 1955 and went to his glorious home in heaven on July 9, 2020. Stephen was a loving husband and father of three boys, passed into his eternal Heavenly home after fighting various illnesses for over 25 years ranging from kidney disease, scoliosis, COPD, and congested heart failure.   Stephen is survived by his wife of forty years, Suzanne (Miller) Puckett; his three boys, William Puckett, Joshua Puckett, and Michael Puckett. His two grandsons Caleb Puckett and Nathan Puckett, and his two granddaughters Sedona Carter and Caylee Puckett.   Stephen was preceded in death by his father, James Leslie Puckett, sister Brenda Whitecotton, and brother Kim Puckett.   Stephen was a proud member of Spring Valley Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. Stephen loved being at church and was especially known for his joking around with the kids and making people laugh and smile. Stephen was saved and trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and because of this we know that despite all the pain he endured on this earth he is completely healed and talking everyone’s ears off in Heaven. We also know that because he was saved, he may be gone from this earth, but it’s not a goodbye but a see you later in Heaven.   Visitation will be on July 13, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Spring Valley Baptist Church located at 5101 Western Center Blvd. Fort Worth, TX 76137 with the service following at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Dan Darter officiating. Burial will be in Cresson Cemetery located at County Rd 1000, Godley, TX 76044. In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Spring Valley Baptist Church Missions.
