Tristen James William Parkhurst
July 5, 2004- October 8, 2020
Tristen Parkhurst, a beloved and vivacious young man passed away on October 8, 2020 at 10:27 P.M. at the age of 16 after a car accident in Fort Worth, Tx.
Tristen is survived by his parents Billy and Reene; Brothers Wyatt, Nickolas, and Zackery Parkhurst; his Grandparents Lois Gronewold and James and Judy Koker, Aunt and Uncle Karrie and Rob Robinson, Nephews Noah Reid, Elijah Zayze, Wilson Ryan, and Jeremiah Ian, and Cousins Chloe and Aidia.
Tristen was born in Hermitage, Tennessee on July 5, 2004 to Billy and Reene Parkhurst. He was a student at Saginaw High School where he played football for the Saginaw Rough Riders. Tristen was an amazing athlete since the young age of seven. He played every sport that involved any type of ball and or contact, he got that from his oldest brother Nickolas. He was a great student of knowledge who refused to be less than perfect and liked to debate every subject, he got that from his brother Zackery. He believed in living life to the fullest and always accepting people as they were, he got that from his brother Wyatt. He was a thinker and a problem solver who often took on everyone else’s problems so that he could take the burden off them, he got that from his father Billy. He believed in God and knew there was a better place just beyond the clouds, he was kind, caring, and compassionate, he got that from his mother Reene.
Most importantly, Tristen was a light for the world who shined bright for all to see. He was there for his friends and family without hesitation. He believed everyone was created equal and lived without bias. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, all who knew him, and all that will forever be affected by his lasting legacy.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled
October 20th from 1:00-7:00
