W.C. “Brock” Brockhouse

  Brock Brockhouse, 82, of Saginaw Texas passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on July 7th 2021.   Brock was born on November 29, 1938 in Jacksonville, IL to Carroll W. and Bessie L. Brockhouse.  He served as Security Police in the United States Air Force and received his degree in Criminal Justice from TCJC.   Brock continued his career in the criminal justice system for 43 years, serving as a police officer at the University of Texas, Austin and Arlington campuses, Special Texas Ranger for the Santa Fe Railroad, and as a Marshal for the City of Ft Worth where he retired in January, 2004.   Brock loved his dogs, enjoyed his garden, and was a model railway enthusiast who had a passion for building a very detailed and elaborate model railroad.   He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sharon Tumlinson Brockhouse, and three children, Charles (Kathy) Brockhouse, Gretchen (Lester) Martin, and Erika (John) Machamer.  He was a beloved Opa to his 2 grandchildren, Zoe and Connor Martin.   Honoring his request Brock will be cremated, and interment will be at DFW National Cemetery.
